In just a few days, a trader who put $5,500 into a Solana meme coin saw their investment explode to over $1.5 million. So far, they’ve cashed out $1.1 million of that profit.
This trader got in early on Goatseus Maximus (GOAT), a meme token that surged 76,480%, reaching a market cap close to $290 million. GOAT was launched on Solana through Pump.fun only six days ago, gaining massive attention quickly. It was created by “Truth Terminal,” an AI chatbot on Twitter powered by Meta’s Llama 3.1 model.

Truth Terminal floated the idea of a meme coin after receiving a $50,000 Bitcoin donation from Marc Andreessen, co-founder of Andreessen Horowitz. By October 10, the bot introduced Goatseus Maximus, calling it the “spiritual successor” to an old internet meme. The coin soon became reality, with Truth Terminal giving its stamp of approval.
One lucky trader, whose wallet address begins with Hdxk, made a $5,520 investment in four transactions. In just five hours, they had already made $9,851 in profit. Over the next six days, they sold off portions of their holdings, securing $1.1 million in profits while still holding $413,000 worth of GOAT.

This trader fits the profile of a typical Pump.fun meme coin enthusiast, trading various tokens rapidly. Aside from GOAT, their wallet contains $25,000 in Solana and $214,000 in other meme coins, including $135,000 in Cheese Ball (CB) and $22,000 in Golden Celestial Ratio (GCR), both AI-generated tokens.
Unlike other traders who missed out on profits, this one cashed in at the right time. For instance, a trader recently turned $800 into $10 million with a meme coin but watched their gains plummet by 70% after refusing to sell. Similarly, the “Dogecoin Millionaire” saw $250,000 grow to $3 million but held out too long, and Dogecoin’s price eventually dropped from $0.73 to just $0.12.
This trader’s smart decision to lock in profits early shows how crucial timing is in the fast-moving world of meme coins.
